Welcome to Tissler. This Privacy Policy explains what information Tissler collects, how it is used, and the choices and rights available to you.
Tissler is operated by Tommy Berndtsson, Sweden, who is responsible for processing your personal data.

When you use Tissler, we may collect:
Your name, email address, username, profile photo, biography, language and other profile information you choose to provide.
Posts, photos, captions, comments, likes, saved places, “Did you join?” and “I joined!” responses, “Want to try” selections, people you follow, and other interactions within Tissler.
Posts may appear in public discovery, including on place pages and, for restaurant posts, on the map.
When you request a translation, the caption or comment is sent to Google Cloud Translation for that request. Translations are not stored by Tissler.
Tissler stores information about restaurants and places that you attach to posts or other activity.
If you grant location permission, your current location may be processed to show your position on the map and help you discover nearby places. Tissler does not create or store a continuous history of your device’s location.
You can disable location access at any time through your device settings and continue searching for places manually.
If you contact us through Tissler, we collect the subject and message you submit together with the account information needed to respond. The message is sent by email through Resend. It is not kept as an in-app support record, but the resulting email remains in the mailbox used to receive it.
Tissler processes login sessions and security information needed to authenticate users, prevent misuse and maintain the service.
Tissler does not collect advertising identifiers or create a persistent identifier for your device. Service providers may automatically process limited technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser or operating-system information, and authentication logs, for security and service operation.

We process account information, content and social activity to provide the Tissler service you request. We rely on legitimate interests to secure, maintain and improve the service and prevent abuse. Where consent is required, including for optional device permissions, you may withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising or share it with data brokers.

These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services. Where they act as processors on our behalf, they are required to apply appropriate security and data-protection safeguards. Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area using legally recognised transfer safeguards where required.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect Tissler, its users or others from fraud, abuse or security threats.
Account information and user content are generally retained while your account remains active.
Support emails and limited security records may be retained in the mailbox used to receive them, and for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.
When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. Data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups are replaced through the normal backup cycle.
You may delete your account directly inside Tissler under:

Deleting your account removes your personal information and associated posts, photos, comments, likes and other user content. Some limited information may be retained when required by law or necessary to prevent fraud or resolve an active legal dispute.
If you use Sign in with Apple, Tissler will also revoke the associated authentication token during account deletion.

Tissler is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or misuse. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Tissler or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
